Friday, October 18th, 2024, was our FIFTH CyberBreak.

For CyberBreak, we asked families across Ireland to completely ditch their smart devices for 24 hours, from 5pm on Friday, 18th Oct, to 5pm on Saturday, 19th Oct, 2024, and over 52,000 people participated!

CyberBreak is open to families, schools, and companies as a fun, interactive way for kids, parents, teachers, and adults to reflect on how much time they spend online and to promote a healthy online and offline balance. It's also a good opportunity to just take a break from the online world and 'disconnect to reconnect'!

You can take a CyberBreak at any time of the year of course, but we look forward to you taking a CyberBreak with us again in 2025!

Ireland's online safety charity is calling on all families, schools, and companies across the country to ditch their smart devices (phones, tablets, laptops, computers, and gaming consoles) for 24-hours and disconnect to reconnect with a complete break from the online world.
